Northpier Media — Studio

An interdisciplinary studio for design, marketing, and the things in between.

Northpier Media is a small team working at the seam where product design, performance marketing, and engineering meet. We work on a short list of client engagements, and on a smaller list of products of our own.

We take on partnerships where craft, strategy, and execution have to share the same table. Most of what we do is the unglamorous work of getting all three to agree.

Three disciplines, one team, working in the same room.

01 — Design

Product, Brand & Web

Product design, web, and identity work for teams shipping real things. We start with the underlying problem, design the system around it, and stay close through implementation.

02 — Marketing

Performance & Strategy

Customer acquisition built to compound. We work on the diagnostic side as readily as the executional one — channels, creative, and the operating discipline that makes spend behave like investment.

03 — Engineering

Architecture & Build

Technical strategy and pragmatic implementation. Systems design, platform decisions, and the kind of engineering judgement that prevents expensive mistakes early. We work alongside in-house teams or end to end.

A small team. Selective by necessity.

Northpier Media is a small studio working at the intersection of design, marketing, and engineering — for partners we choose, and on products of our own.

We split our time between client engagements and internal projects. Working on both keeps the studio honest. The same standards apply either way; the products we build for ourselves are not a sandbox, and the work we take on for clients is not a side hustle.

Engagements are typically retainer or project based, and we keep the active list short. We are deliberate about who we work with and what we work on — we decline more than we accept, and we say no to work that does not play to the team's strengths.

Tell us what you're working on.

For new engagements, partnerships, and general inquiries — email is the best way to reach the studio. A short note about the company and the problem usually gets us to a useful first conversation faster than a form would.
